Log in to the iServer service management server, and
click Data->Data
Registration. Enter to the register datastore page (http://{ip}:{port}/iserver/admin-ui/data/dataRegistration),
which shows all registered data stores, and click "Store ID"
to view detailed storage configuration information. On the data storage
page, click Register Datastore
button to add new data storage. Since the parameters required to register
different databases are different, the configuration information of different
databases is described in detail below.
Register the PostGIS database
When registering PostGIS, you need to fill in or select
the following parameters:
- Storage ID: User-defined storage ID name, a unique identifier
created for the database
- Data store type: Select "Spatial Database".
- Enginetype: Select "POSTGIS"
- Service address: Fill in the database service address in the
format of {ip}:{port}
- Name: Fill in the name to be used
- User Name: The user name of the database owner
- Password: The password of the owner of the database
- Editable: Set whether it is editable or not. It is not editable
by default.
- Check Editable:
This database can be used as a storage node for the directory
service to upload relational data. As a storage node for uploaded
relational data, follow these guidelines:
- When multiple editable databases are registered,
the database with the fewest data sets is preferred
as the storage node.
- When the editable database and iServer DataStore
are registered at the same time, the editable database
is preferred as the storage node, and the principle
of minimum data set is followed.
- If only the iServer DataStore is registered, the
iServer DataStore is available as a storage node.
- Uncheck Editable:
The database cannot be used as a storage node for directory
service uploading relational data.
Click the Register
DataStore button to complete the registration.
Register for OraclePlus
The following parameters need to be filled in or selected
when registering OraclePlus:
- Storage ID: User-defined storage ID name, a unique identifier
created for the database
- Data store type: Select "Spatial Database".
- Enginetype: Select "ORACLEPLUS"
- Service address: Database service address in the format of
{ip}:{port}/orcl
- Name: Fill in the name to be used
- User Name: The user name of the database owner
- Password: The password of the database owner
Click the Register
DataStore button to complete the registration.
Register the PostgreSQL
database
PostgreSQL is a free object-relational database server
(database management system) distributed under a flexible BSD-style license.
It supports most of it SQL is standard and provides many other modern
features: complex queries, foreign keys, transaction integrity, etc. The
parameters to be filled in or selected when registering PostgreSQL are
as follows:
- Storage ID: User-defined storage ID name, a unique identifier
created for the database
- Data store type: Select "Spatial Database".
- Enginetype: Select "POSTGRESQL"
- Service address: database service address in the format of
{ip}:{port}, such as "192.168.112.162: 5432"
- Database: Fill in the name to be used
- Name: Fill in the name to be used
- User Name: The user name of the database owner
- Password: The password of the database owner
- Check Editable:
This database can be used as a storage node for the directory
service to upload relational data. As a storage node for uploaded
relational data, follow these guidelines:
- When multiple editable databases are registered,
the database with the fewest data sets is preferred
as the storage node.
- When the editable database and iServer DataStore
are registered at the same time, the editable database

Register for HDFS
iServer supports registering HDFS directory as spatial
database. When registering HDFS, you need to fill in or select the following
parameters:
- Storage ID: User-defined storage ID name, a unique identifier
created for the database
- Data store type: Select "Spatial Database".
- Enginetype: Select "HDFS"
- Service address: fill in the database service address in the
format of hdfs://{ip}:{port}/data
- Kerberos authentication enabled: Set whether Kerberos authentication
is enabled, if you need to register Kerberos enabled For certified
HDFS, you need to check "HBase Cluster Has Kerberos Authentication
Turn On" and enter the following parameters:
- Hadoop Cluster Core-site.xml File Path:
The path of the Hadoop cluster configuration file core-site.xml
in the iServer host.
- HDFS Cluster Hdfs-site.xml File Path:
Fill in the configuration file HDFS-site.xml path of the HDFS
cluster on the iServer host
- Kerberos Client Config File Path: Fill
in the path of the configuration file krb5.ini for the Kerberos
client in the iServer host
- Principle Name: Fill in the Kerberos
subject name
- Principle Keytable Path: Fill in the
path of the Kerberos key file
- Jaas Config File Path: Fill in the
path of the jaas.exe configuration file
- Editable: whether it is editable or not. It is not editable
by default.
