Publication of cached data

Feedback

SuperMap iServer supports loading 2D and 3D caches directly into the 3D scene, and for publishing, such as image cache, model cache, vector cache, and map cache.

Specifically, you can use SuperMap iDesktop to "Generate Scene Cache" for vector data set, image data (SIT file), terrain data and model data, and then directly load the generated 3D cache file into the 3D scene. Of course, for maps, SuperMap supports loading a 5.0 format tile file directly into a 3D scene for publishing.

Supported types of 3D cache files:

Table 1 Supported 3D Cache Type

Cache Type

Cache Format

Vector *.scv
Image *.sci3d、*.sci、*.sit
Terrain *.sct
Model *.scm、*.scv、*.scp
Map *.sci3d

A 3D cache file may be generated and loaded into a 3D scene as follows:

(1) Importing data and saving the data in a data source format;

(2) Generate a scene cache, or generating a map cache for a map (5.0 format);

(3) Create a new 3D scene;

(4) Load the cache in the scene, right-click "Normal Layer" in the layer manager, and select "Add * * Cache Layer …" , or add cache files in batches through the "Cache" item in the menu;

(5) Save that 3D scene and the workspace;

(6) The workspace where the data is published.

For the detailed operation of each step, please refer to Publication of dataset. After the workspace is saved, the data preparation process is completed, and the workspace release process is completely consistent for different data, so it will not be described again.
