zip package for Windows
It provides 32bit and 64bit packages for Windows. The full version of product package includes these contents:
bin folder: Start\stop Tomcat service, and other scripts. It uses the startup.bat file to start in Windows.
conf folder: It stores Tomcat's configuration files and associated file type definitions.
docs folder: It stores SuperMap iEdge help documentation and eBooks.
lib folder: It stores the required jar files for Tomcat.
licenses folder: It stores the license agreement and declaration of the open source library used by SuperMap iEdge.
logs folder: It stores the log information for starting/running SuperMap iEdge and Tomcat.
support folder: It stores JRE and license configuration tools.
temp folder: It stores the temporary files during Tomcat's operation.
webapps folder: It is for the deployment of SuperMap iEdge, in which the iserver folder contains SuperMap iServer dependent jar files, configuration files and other information.
license.txt folder: It stores SuperMap iEdge user license agreement file.
readme.txt file: A readme file related to installing the product and launching the service, which can guide the user to install and start the service.
SuperMap_iEdge_2026_Readme_CHS.pdf file: SuperMap iEdge introduction file.
BUILD_* file: the version information of SuperMap iEdge (identified by the * content)
Other files are Tomcat's permission, declaration and other information.
tar package for Linux
It provides 32bit and 64bit packages for Linux. Compared to the Windows package, it has an additional file- licensetool.sh, which encapsulates the commands that configure JAVA environment variables and apply for a license, mainly used in License Configuration, for others please see zip Package for Windows.
